Refund policy

H. Doucette Studio sells three types of products: digital design assets delivered by instant download, made-to-order physical prints produced by our print-on-demand partner, and hands-on website and design services. Refund terms vary by product type.

Digital downloads

Because digital files are accessible immediately after purchase, all digital download sales are final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, accidental purchase, or incompatibility with software you did not check before buying.

- Your download link did not work or your file never arrived (after checking your spam or promotions folder).
- The file you received is corrupted, incomplete, or does not match the product description.
- You were charged more than once for the same order.

In these cases we will re-send the correct file or resolve the issue at no cost to you. If we are unable to resolve a technical problem, we may issue a refund at our discretion.

Printed items

Each canvas print is made to order once you place your order, so we're unable to accept returns for change of mind. If your print arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, email us at heather@hdoucette.com within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and we'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

Services and retainers

One-time service packages are non-refundable once work has begun; if you need to cancel before work starts, contact us and we'll refund any portion not yet started. Monthly retainer plans can be canceled at any time before your next billing date to stop future charges; we do not refund the current billing period once it has started.

Before you buy

Product listings note the file formats included for digital products (for example PNG, JPG, AI, or EPS) and what's included for services and prints. Please review these details before purchasing.

License and usage rights

What you may do with artwork you purchase, whether as a digital file or a printed piece, is governed by the applicable license terms, not by this refund policy. Please review the license before use.
